Kate D'hotman
A writer-director and AFDA graduate with a passion for storytelling, she studied Fine Art & Photography before starting her career in the world of film. After several years working in short form and advertising, Kate founded her own production company, Bon Appetit Films, and began pursuing her filmmaking dream in earnest. Her comedy series "Cooked", starring top South African comedienne and TV personality Nina Hastie, was chosen for the IFP No Borders Co-Production Market in New York in 2016 and is currently in development. Supported by the National Film and Video Foundation of South Africa, her debut feature film, "Losing My Religion", is currently at financing stage, with a view to shooting later this year. She currently lives in Johannesburg, South Africa but works in countries around the world.
