Born in Beijing, she studied music since childhood. In 2012, she graduated her master's degree in Filmmaking from Kingston University in the United Kingdom. During her stay in the UK, she worked as a Cinematographer for SKY TV Channel 195. After returning to China, she worked as editor, AD and director for 10+ films.
