Jordy Sank is a South African director with a passion for crafting emotive stories.

I Am Here, his feature documentary directorial debut, won the Audience Award for Best Documentary Film at the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival 2021 and was one of the top 5 most watched films at the Encounters International Documentary Film Festival in 2021.

His short film, The Locket, was nominated for a South African Film and Television Award in 2017. He was commissioned to create a short film, Leemtes & Leegheid, by kykNET for their upcoming Silwerskermfees in 2022.

Jordy has been in the South African film industry for 7 years, working mainly in the commercial advertising industry and being mentored by South African Directing giants. After meeting Ella Blumenthal as a young teenager his passion project has been a dream of his for over 15 years.
