Tshego Monaisa is a 1ovelist and filmmaker she currently works as a Scriptwriter and has written for numerous soapies, dramas and sitcoms including Ikhaya, AboMama, Isibaya, Isidingo, Ga re dumele, Single Guyz, Makoti, and was part of the SAFTA winning comedy writing team for Burnt Onion’s Thuli noThulani. Tshego was Head Writer on Mopani, has facilitated script workshops for writers in the Mpumalanga, worked as a panel member for the writing category at the SAFTAS, and was Script Mentor for the 2018 NFVF youth development slate. Tshego is the Executive Producer at her production company, Monalisa Productions, Where she has produced and directed the web series, The Single Diaries of a Jozi Girl, which was nominated for international digital production at the Rio Web Fest, and has been selected for the Asia web awards. Tshego wrote and directed her first short film, a supernatural called Thavhazimbi, through the 2019 NFVF Female Filmmaker slate and Zinc Pictures
