Moshidi’s life that seems picture perfect is disrupted by the unexpected return of her secret child Masello who has been in prison for accidentally killing her mother’s lover; the man who impregnated her and the child Tshidi is now living with the mother. Masello wants her child back and Moshidi is trying to keep Masello away from her child and keep this secret from her fiancé Phineas so that he can marry her. Masello arrives at Moshidi’s door after she was released on parole and demands her child. Afraid of letting Phineas know the truth about Masello Moshidi lets Masello stay in exchange for her silence. Moshidi tries getting Masello a job to get her away from Tshidi but her plan back fires Eventually Phineas finds out about the secret that Moshidi has been hiding, Phineas calls off the wedding and he gets angry that Masello has ruined things for him, he tries hurting Masello and Moshidi shields her child from him. Moshidi acknowledges that she has been a bad mother and does the right thing for her daughter and becomes a selfless mother to Masello and chooses her child over her man.
