My Name is Karabelo Shirinde, I am a 22 year old film student who was born and raised in Kempton Park, Johannesburg. As of 2020 I will be doing my BA (HONS) in film and television at the University of Witwatersrand. Throughout my film school career I have been majoring in subjects such as directing and scriptwriting which are subjects that I am equally passionate about. Films that I have directed include my 2nd year short drama film titled P.X.O (2017), my 3rd year short drama film After Robot (2018) which both won various awards at the Tshwane University of Technology film awards and were both selected for the CILECT international film association in their produced years and my 4th year short drama film titled Mpilo (2019) which I co-directed.
